Dear WLC members, partners and friends,

A meeting with the Chabad impact-group, the Tamar Regional Council, and the settlement division took place last week. This is one of the OR Movement's impact groups for Yatir, a community that will house around 50 families and be established next to the Yatir Forest in the northern Negev, north of the town of Dror. This is the group's first meeting with the Tamar Regional Council, on whose territory the town is located, after 8 years of formation.

The meeting included 15 families from Kiryat Malachi, Jerusalem, Bnei Brak, Be'er Sheva, and other regions of Israel. We discussed the impact-mission, the motivations why individuals want to establish the town, and the group's organizational structure during the meeting. The core's goal is to build a tourist-friendly community that will host delegations of Jewish groups from throughout the world, promoting Zionism and love for Israel. These families made the decision to live here as pioneers and build a vibrant community!
