Dear WLC members, partners, and friends,

This week the establishment of the Tech-Point Innovation Center in Akko (opened a few months ago together with Yossi Tanuri and the Municipality of Akko) began. Last night marked the beginning of a wonderful journey for the city of Akko. To connect Jews and Arabs, bring quality jobs to the Galilee, and create quality life, there must be a leading force- a community of committed individuals; and this is what we witnessed last night. The event included a fascinating lecture by the executive member of the OR Movement, Bat Sheva Moshe, who is chairman of Yozmot Atid and director of WIZ Israel. There was an additional lecture by Eli Colton, founder and partner of the MGTECH association, on the importance of cooperation between high-tech centers in the Galilee and cooperation between Jewish and Arab society. We felt honored to walk beside the 70 residents of Akko who showed up at this event!
