Dear WLC members, partners and friends,
We are on the path to fulfilling the vision of Israel 2048—a shared future, the major component of which is the creation of Israel's new centers—through professional and non-political action, as we have done in the past with all governments.
In the last two months, we worked with increased forces, campaigns, position papers, and meetings with the elected members of the Knesset, and these are the main results: The basic guidelines of the government begin with the following statement: "…the government will develop and promote relocation to all parts of the Land of Israel, in the Galilee, the Negev, and the Golan…" There are 23 components in the coalition agreements that support the s development of the Negev and the Galilee, which add up to a sum of almost 1 billion dollar a year for projects and initiatives (trains, the IDF crossing, another international airport, discounting residential land, BioTech and AgroTech centers, development of rural areas, and more), and at the peak there is An addition of 450 million dollar will be made to the Ministry for the Development of the Negev and the Galilee, and in order to coordinate the work of the many government ministries and carry out the vision, a committee of ministers will be constituted.
We've completed a tour with the new minister and are working on detailed work plans, a township map, and toward the first government's decision; the great test of implementation is still ahead of us, but we've laid the best foundations we can to know who and what to work with. Thanks to those of you who participated in the moves in the last two months.
Let's start!
Together. Building the future of Israel.
