Dear WLC members, partners, and friends,
It was a joyous week as we celebrated the 75th year of Israel’s independence (Yom Ha’atzmaut), and we are thrilled to share news about the celebrations that took place in OR Communities. We had the privilege of seeing what we started over 20 years ago blossom into a celebration of family, community, and Zionism this Independence Day. In the town of Yatir over 100 community members of OR's Chabad impact group camped out on their territory to signify the celebrations. Our Dror community held a town fair with over 500 participants. Carmit held a community event for over 800 people and a memorial race for fallen IDF soldiers and victims of hostile terrorism attacks. And the list of celebrations in OR Communities goes on…
Now, in the 75th year of the state of Israel, over 2,000 families (almost 10,000 residents) reside in OR Communities, and in the coming years we expect over 4,000 new families to join OR Communities.
We will continue to grow as a state, and we will continue to develop the Negev and Galilee on our way to becoming the best country in the world to live in!
Together. Building the Future of Israel.
