Dear WLC members, partners and friends,

At the dedication ceremony for the new playground in Carmit, the eighth town established by the OR movement and home to a vibrant community of more than 3,000 people, we shared in the joy and excitement of many kids in attendance.

Bob Wiener believed it was critical to establish a playground a park for pioneer families even though there weren't any families there.

This last week saw the peak of a dream becoming a reality.

Our partner and friend Bob Wiener is a person who can tour Israel and stop every 10 miles for a project or program he is involved in, and we have been privileged in the last decade to be partners with him and his amazing team.

The park in Carmit is one of Bob's flagship projects, and we celebrate and share his enthusiasm for his faith in the Negev, Israel, and the OR movement.
