Dear WLC members, partners and friends,
In preparation for Israel's Independence Day, we set out on a mission to find a common dream among the country. We started by asking almost 6,000 Israeli citizens to share their dreams at an event in Ra’anana. Our campaign eventually reached 750,000 people, inviting them to share their dreams and take action in fulfilling them.The results of our campaign are as follows:
(Of the answers we received, 82% consisted of general dreams and 18% consisted of personal dreams/goals)
30% dream of a united, harmonious, and peaceful Israeli society
18% dream of peace and security
10% dream of affordable and quality housing in all parts of the country
8% dream of quality modern education in all parts of the country
7% dream of living in a true democratic society without corruption and incitement
6% dream of environmental conservation
5% dream of achieving their personal goals, such as becoming a professional tennis player, opening a bakery or becoming a singer
5% dream of happiness, love, good health or well-being for themselves/others
3% dream of fair treatment for marginalized societies
3% dream of a holistic approach to healthcare
18% dream of peace and security
