Dear WLC members, partners and friends,

This Thursday we hosted an extraordinary event full of inspiration and light  to present the "Israel 2048: Centennial Plan". Our partners, senior Government officials, authorities and members of the Israeli economy joined us for this event that marked the final steps of our vision.

 A highlight of the event was Shlomi Heizler’s (Director General of the Ministry of Finance) compliments towards OR’s unparalleled work ethic and refusal to give up on our mission. He declared his commitment to ensuring a government response to the expected population growth by 2048, noting the billions of shekels already allocated toward this in the government budget and expressing his dedication towards pursuing a supplementary government decision if needed.

Heads of the largest associations in the economy have also pledged that the business sector will bring housing options, employment opportunities, and infrastructure comparable to that of the TLV/Jerusalem area to the Negev and Galilee.

The evening marked our gratitude towards our hundreds of partners who dared to believe and persevere with us, and helped further our mission through their work. We are now on to the next stage- partnering with the public sector to ensure the Government continues its duty to fulfilling the vision and scaling it at large, before it’s too late.
